1. Definitions

Key terms include: Digital Content, Digital Delivery, Licence, DRM, Download Window, Device Compatibility, Access Rights, and Digital Supply Completion.

2. Purpose & Scope

These Terms govern the supply, access, download, and use of digital books, e-books, PDFs, and all digital compendium material purchased through the e-commerce bookstore.

3. Contract Formation for Digital Goods

Digital Content is supplied when the user receives access to download or stream the product. A contract is formed upon completion of payment and display of the order confirmation.

4. Delivery of Digital Content

Delivery occurs electronically. Users may access their content immediately after confirmation, subject to platform availability. Email delivery links may also be provided.

5. Licence Grant

A non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide licence is granted for personal use only. All ownership remains with Strategic Global Holdings Pty Ltd. Terms are further defined in the Digital Content EULA.

6. Usage Restrictions

Users must not:

  • Share, resell, or distribute Digital Content
  • Remove or alter watermarks, copyright notices, or metadata
  • Upload Digital Content to any online platform
  • Circumvent or tamper with DRM or security mechanisms
  • Train machine learning or AI systems on the content without permission

7. Device Compatibility & Technical Requirements

Users are responsible for ensuring their device and software support the file format provided. Supported formats are listed on each product page.

8. Digital Cooling-Off & Withdrawal Rights (EU/UK)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers lose the right to withdraw once digital download or streaming begins. A mandatory checkbox confirming this is presented to EU/UK customers before purchase.

9. Refund Rules for Digital Content

Digital Content is non-refundable once download or access begins unless it is defective or prohibited by regional law. Issues of inaccessibility must be reported promptly.

10. Download Limits & Access Duration

Reasonable download limits may apply to prevent misuse. Access duration may vary by title and will be stated on the product page.

11. Security & DRM Controls

Digital Content may incorporate DRM, watermarking, or access tokens. Any attempt to bypass security measures may result in termination of access and legal action.

12. Termination of Licence

The licence terminates automatically if these Terms or the EULA are breached. Users must delete all copies upon termination.

13. Warranties & Liability

Digital Content is provided “as is” to the extent allowed by law. Liability is limited in accordance with consumer protection laws applicable to the customer’s region.

14. Document Hierarchy & Cross-Dependencies

These Terms operate alongside the Digital Content EULA, E-Commerce Terms, Refunds Policy, and Global Privacy Policy.
